Prerit Jain is toy and game designer. His practice revolves around playfulness and the role of emerging technology as a medium for human connection with oneself and the environment. He is interested in creating an altered audiovisual aesthetic developed from applying various techniques to ideas derived from fields range from digital culture, biology, pedagogy and childhood. He works with mixed reality, AR, VR, Games, found materials, sound art, and 3d artifacts. His work employs digital tools to manipulate and alter data obtain from his immediate physical and digital environment. He also likes to make crochet toys and collect kitschy objects memes.
