Doodle playtters (portmanteau of play and platters) is a type of dissecting puzzle set consist of organic and inorganic geometrical shapes , which can be stuck onto metallic planes like refrigerator or cupboards. One can draw on both sides by flipping it, using erasable markers.
It’s a playful activity for kids of 6-8 years, integrating multisensory experience. Doodle playtter are made of a magnetic sheet sandwiched between colourful acrylic materials. Which gives it a smooth surface for writing or drawing over it.
The puzzle is similar to jigsaw puzzle or tangram where a set of pieces can be assembled in different ways to produce two or more distinct geometric shapes.
Combination of shapes and drawing creates various objects and characters. It promotes expression of moods and feelings by using shapes as props and storytelling by creating flat puppets. It can also be used as an tool to plan a schedule or manage daily task.
